Little time to think, let alone write.
Most barns and sheds are down. Little remains. Wagons set and ready to go, today we gathered the last of the cattle.
We’ll be taking some of the less popular trails to avoid the railroad. Goodnight-Loving, if memory serves, but I haven’t paid much attention. Will confirm eventually.
Poor Isadora’s been miserable. It’s been so busy I’ve been having Ms. Canton watch her too much, and she’s mostly good for her but I can tell all this excitement has her frazzled at best. I haven’t bothered working numbers or letters with her. Mostly just attempting to distract her with Maverick.
Hopefully I have enough of my own supplies.
